About Adrienne behrens

I created Springboard College Consulting because my own college application process did not yield the desired results for me. I settled, when instead I could have created options and choice.  I believe that no student should find them self in a position to receive thin envelopes from colleges spelling out rejection from one’s dream school.

As an educator for 36 years, and as a parent, I understand the bewildering, ever-increasing complexity and competitive nature of college admissions and the need to be guided through it personally.   Having instructed over 1500 students on a one-on-one basis, my expertise lies in motivating, teaching and connecting with high school students to maximize their college potential.

My own greatest success occurred when I facilitated my own two childrens’ college admissions process, resulting in each attending their top choice universities.

A graduate of San Diego State University with honors degrees in Education and Library Administration,  I also earned a degree in Spanish Language and have the ability to consult bilingually.
